Welcome to MagicAndReading.com web site. Reading is important to the growth and development of every child (and adult).
My name is Steven Dickinson (aka Mr D the Magician) and I have a passion for reading. I love books and it is my goal to increase reading in the life of those I come in contact with.
I use a magic program to help encourage children of all ages with the important message of learning to read and to continue reading their whole life.
Reading will help bring families together as their share new adventures, discover wonderful creatures, and learn about the world they live in. Parents are the most important teachers in a child's life.
Reading to and with their child will not only help educate them but the time spent will create a bond between the parent and child that will stay with them for the rest of their life.
As adults I'm sure your like me it is so easy to get caught up in the mundane things. Reading 15 minutes a day with your kids will help get rid of the mundane and put the importance of spending time with your kids at the forefront.

Mr D the Magician is Steven Dickinson, an Appleton Magician. Mr D has been performing magic for kids since 1982. Mr D's performance allows the children to have fun while maintaining control so the kids can hear the important message about reading.
